Jack Buckman is a founding force behind Buckman, Buckman & Reid, Inc. and a veteran of the financial industry with a career spanning more than five decades. He began on Wall Street in 1969 at Tucker Anthony & R. L. Day, where he rose to Managing Director of Operations before departing in 1987.
In 1988, alongside longtime partner John Reid, Jack helped build what would become BB&R—starting with just three employees in a small office. Today, the firm has grown into a respected, multi-office organization with over 35 professionals and approximately $550 million in client assets. Jack’s leadership, discipline, and vision helped lay the foundation for the firm’s long-term success and client-first culture.
Beyond the office, Jack has been deeply committed to his community. He is a two-time past President of the Tinton Falls Rotary Club and previously served as President of the Board of Directors for Aslan Youth Ministries.
Jack earned his degree in Management from Saint Francis University in 1967. He and his wife Mary have been married since that same year, raising their four children in Little Silver, New Jersey. Today, they are proud grandparents to fourteen grandchildren—his favorite and most rewarding long-term investment.
